Built around what you need to connect
We are developing small private LTE networks for businesses that need controlled access for their devices. We will check the site, the equipment you want to connect and the available spectrum before recommending a design.
Our standard packages include a local mobile core. You own the supplied equipment and can choose whether Lodestar manages it after installation. Hosted-core alternatives reduce the initial installation price and add a recurring core and management charge.
Starter
A planned starting package with one Nova230i Pro sector, a local core, a gateway and straightforward commissioning. It is intended for a small, clearly defined coverage area with suitable power and cabling already available.
Omni
A planned package using one Nova442i radio, a local core and commissioning. Its omnidirectional antenna and carrier options may suit a different site layout or traffic requirement. We will assess whether it is a better fit than several smaller cells.
Hosted-core alternatives
If the site has suitable, reliable backhaul, a Lodestar-hosted core may reduce the initial installation cost. Planned Starter pricing is from £3,295 plus £99/month; planned Omni pricing is from £5,495 plus £149/month. These options include hosted core service and the agreed management scope instead of a local core.
You still purchase the site radio and supplied equipment outright. Supported topology, capacity, traffic routing and support allowances will be agreed before launch. A hosted core depends on the connection between your site and Lodestar.
Coverage and support
Coverage and capacity depend on the building, devices, radio placement and authorised operating conditions. Indoor Band 40 installations are our starting point. Outdoor projects will be assessed separately for the intended use and available spectrum.
Optional management is planned to cover monitoring, core backups, scheduled updates and a defined allowance for remote changes during business hours. Extra radios, extensive cabling, customer devices, internet connectivity, travel and specialist site work will be quoted separately.
Spectrum and compatible equipment
Any radio installation needs the appropriate spectrum authorisation for its location, power and intended use. We will assess the licensing route and device compatibility before recommending equipment.
Innovation and Research or Demonstration and Trial licences may suit an agreed test or demonstration. A permanent operational service needs suitable operational authorisation. Licence fees are separate unless a quotation explicitly includes them.
