Keep the radio on your site
We are developing a hosted LTE core option for customers who own compatible radio equipment. Your radio connects over suitable backhaul, and Lodestar hosts the core functions needed to authenticate SIMs and carry data.
Connect supported radios to a core hosted by Lodestar, with a clear choice of shared service or a separate instance.
All new services listed here are coming soon. Features, prices and availability are provisional. No launch date is confirmed.
Prices are proposed customer totals and will be confirmed before launch. Lodestar is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
| Service | Proposed price | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Entry hosted-core setup | £49 setupone-off | For a supported entry configuration. |
| Entry hosted core | From £10/monthper month | Separate instances and larger configurations are subject to the final service specification. |

We are developing a hosted LTE core option for customers who own compatible radio equipment. Your radio connects over suitable backhaul, and Lodestar hosts the core functions needed to authenticate SIMs and carry data.
A shared-core service provides access to Lodestar infrastructure with an agreed set of subscriber and network controls. A separate hosted instance provides its own core configuration. We will confirm which option suits your radio and how you want to run the network.
The final plan will state where traffic leaves the core, which records you can manage and what happens when the connection to the hosted service is unavailable. A hosted core requires working backhaul.
The planned entry service is for LTE data. Voice and messaging integration can be scoped separately after checking the devices and the service required. Connection to a hosted core does not include access to commercial mobile roaming.
We will publish supported radios, included SIM records, usage allowances and support terms before launch. Hardware, SIMs, delivery, spectrum fees and bespoke integration are separate.
Any radio installation needs the appropriate spectrum authorisation for its location, power and intended use. We will assess the licensing route and device compatibility before recommending equipment.
Innovation and Research or Demonstration and Trial licences may suit an agreed test or demonstration. A permanent operational service needs suitable operational authorisation. Licence fees are separate unless a quotation explicitly includes them.
Discuss a planned service with Lodestar. We are taking enquiries, with no orders or deposits at this stage.
